Food, Friends, and Global Tales

We’re excited to have author Kelsey Timmerman on the show to explore connections between pop culture and the global economy. His books, WHERE AM I WEARING? A Global Tour to the Countries, Factories, and People That Make Our Clothes and WHERE AM I EATING? An Adventure Through the Global Food Economy, tell the stories of the real people behind the items we often take for granted. Kelsey is also the cofounder of the Facing Project, which seeks to connect people through stories to strengthen community. Whether in print or in person, he seeks to connect people around the world, and we love that about him!
